The European Union Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) Directive restricts the use of lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, and two brominated-flame retardants PBB (polybrominated biphenyls) and PBDE (polybrominated diphenyl ethers) in electrical and electronic products sold in Europe after July 1, 2006.??Innovasic Semiconductor certifies that to its knowledge products, which are designated to be RoHS compliant, meet the requirements of the European Union Restriction on the use of Hazardous Substances under (RoHS) Directive, 2002/95/EC.
Any package stated to be RoHS compliant will follow the limits listed below:
- Lead (Pb) 1000 ppm weight in homogeneous materials
- Mercury (Hg) 1000 ppm weight in homogeneous materials
- Cadmium (Cd) 100 ppm weight in homogeneous materials
- Hexavalent Chromium (CrVI) 1000 ppm weight in homogeneous materials
- Polybrominated Biphenyls (PBB) 1000 ppm weight in homogeneous materials
- Polybrominated Biphenyl Ethers (PBDE) 1000 ppm weight in homogeneous materials
